Step 1: As a user with administrative rights to your Microsoft 365 account, login to the Azure Portal at https://portal.azure.com/#home. Click App Registrations.
Step 2: If you have already set up an application in MS365, you should see it on this page. Click on your application to view or edit the settings. Otherwise, click the +New Registration button to create a new one.
Step 3: Fill out the form on the Register an Application page.

- Name: Work.software Outlook Calendar Integration
- Supported Account types: Accounts in this organizational directory only (Single Tenant)
- Redirect URI: This will be your Work.software url, suffixed with /settings, for example https://[companyname].vcr.work/settings. The Platform will be Web.
Step 4: Click Register.
Step 5: On the next page, you should see your integration information. Click Add a certificate or secret.
Step 6: Enter a description for the secret and select an expiration of 24 months or enter a custom expiration date.
Step 7: Click Add. You will now see your client secret has been created. Click the copy button under the Value column, not the Secret Id.
Step 8: Once generated, this client secret will only be visible this one time, so be sure to copy the secret. If you lose or forget to copy the client secret, you can click Regenerate client secret, but be aware that the previous secret will no longer be valid.
Step 9: Now login to the Work.software application, with a user that has the administrator role. Click the Settings button.
Step 10: Under the Calendar Integration heading, select Outlook. Copy the Tenant Id, Client Id, and Client Secret from your newly created application into the respective fields. The Client Secret is what you generated and copied in Step 7. The Tenant Id and Client Id can be found on the Overview page of your application (see below). Click Save.
Step 11: After saving, click Authenticate. You will be redirected to the a Microsoft prompt, where you will have to grant rights to the Work.software application. Click Accept.
Step 12: You will now be redirected back to Work.software, where you should now see that Outlook has been Authorized. You are now ready to integrate with your company’s calendar.
