Employee Evaluation Tools
Employee Evaluation - A three-question survey related to how one self-evaluates and is also evaluated by their manager for that current month.
Performance Plans - Individual Performance Plan for the upcoming evaluation period.
1 on 1 Sync Meeting - A one-to-one meeting for the employee and manager. Agenda items can be added by the employee or manager at any point during the evaluation period.
Meetings
Meeting Host - By default, it is the Department Lead for a Department meeting, or in the case of a personal role, the person that sets up the meeting. There is also the possibility of assigning someone else to host the meeting if the original meeting host is unavailable.
Meeting Types - Department Sync, Employee/Manager End of Month Sync, Internal meetings, Board meetings, One on One Meetings, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Meeting Templates - A meeting template that can be resued for assigned user for future meetings
GRC Meeting Templates - A set of meeting templates and agenda items preconfigured and mapped to framework controls.
Process and Policy
Library - a repository for plays that are complete but can be checked out at any time. The library icon looks like a few books on a shelf.
To check out a process or policy from the library, select the library icon while on the Process and Policy page, which has a list of all processes and policies. Any user can check out any of the processes and policies for review.
To return a process or policy to the library, click the library icon while in the process and policy itself.
Note: Only owners of the process or policy can return a process or policy to the library.
Owner: The person who created the process or policy and has the ability to edit it directly or send it back to the library.
Owner Support - a person assigned by the owner of the process or policy who can also make edits directly on that process or policy.
SME - Subject Matter Expert - The user who is an authority in a particular area or topic for a process or policy.
Process and Policy Classifications
Active - they are being created, reviewed and modified, or returned to the library. Ideally, all processes and policies have been touched in some way, and the percentage showing above this category would be 100%.
Modified - An edit occurred or someone suggested a modification.
New Process and Policy - only require a name of the process and policy and an owner to get started.
No Review - no one has reviewed the process or policy that predetermined review period.
Returned to Library - when a process or policy is no longer required, it can be sent to the library. A process or policy can also be checked out by selecting the library icon.
Reviewed but no change - process or policy was accessed, but no changes were made.
Roles
Administrator - User Role to configure the Work.software account, users, and historical financial performance number. Provides access to user management and password resets.
Advisor - Work.software account access to view People, Process, and Policy to provide analysis and advice.
Board - Provides access to the Board Dashboard.
Contributor - an individual who is outside the company who is able to add suggestions to process and policy, Owner Support of a process and policy, and can attend meetings.
Department - A role for a department manager or leader.
Department Lead - head of a department with only direct reports (no manager above them within the Work.software platform).
GRC Lead - Access to all sections including GRC and Audit Setup and Configuration
Interim Manager - The ability to be a de facto manager of more than one department, hold meetings and evaluate members of those departments. One Department Lead can have multiple departments they are managing.
Lead - Top of the organizational chart within Work.software.
Leadership - anyone that reports directly to the LEAD, usually called either the Executive Team or the C-Suite in business nomenclature.
Personal - The dashboard with a user's personal responsibilities and tasks.
